WWW Wednesday is a meme currently hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words and is basically an update on what you’re reading. Anyone can join in – all you have to do is answer the Three Ws:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Don’t forget to leave a link to your own post in the comments and take some time to check out other people’s posts! 🙂
CURRENTLY READING
The Blind Astronomer’s Daughter by John Pipkin
I said I was going to read this next last week, but I changed my mind and read The Great Gatsby instead 😛
RECENTLY FINISHED
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
I have been meaning to read this for soooooo long and now I finally did! And I’m happy 🙂
READING NEXT
Harry Potter & The Cursed Child
Maybe? Probably. Finally. 😀
What’s on your TBR for the week? Have you already read any of the books mentioned above? What did you think of them? Tell me in the comments! 🙂
Shamefully, I have never read The Great Gatsby 😢 Must add to pile!

I hadn’t read it until now either and I also felt very ashamed about that – now I got one case of shame off my back finally 😀 😛

Mine will probably stay there for a bit. I have too many books to get through 😛

That’s why I chose that edition 😀 I think if you use the goodreads link I added you should get directly to that edition, so you’ll have the ISBN 🙂

I’m intrigued to hear what you think of The Cursed Child, given how divisive it’s been 🙂

I knooow, believe me, I’m equally intrigued to find out what I will think of it after all those very different opinions I heard 😀

I’m so glad I finally got around to reading it – it was actually one of the first books I added when I joined goodreads… and… it’s beeen… a while 😀
I’ve also heard a lot of different opinions on Cursed Child, so I’m really excited to find out what it will be for me 😛

I love that Gatsby cover. That’s a new one to me. Was this your first reading? I enjoyed HP– and I hope you do too!

That’s why I chose that one ❤ 🙂 And yes, my first time! Finally not a Gatsby virgin anymore after all those years 😛 Took me way too long to get to that one – buuuut now I finally did, so yay!

That’s totally fine. There are plenty of classics I haven’t read– I am constantly finding more I need to read. Did you enjoy reading it?

Working on Do Not Say We Have Nothing by Madeleine Thien, which will complete my shortlisted Giller reading. All of them have been excellent!
The Blind Astronomer’s Daughter looks good…

Ohh I guess that means more Giller shortlist reviews to come soon 😀 I’ll be keeping an eye out! 🙂

I read the Great Gatsby for the first time about a month ago and really enjoyed but it was seriously depressing

I’m working my way through some “popular” science books, or books related to science and scientists. Presently reading ‘Reality is not what it seems’ by Carlo Rovelli, a refreshing look at modern physics. Not quite finished it but already moved on to start ‘Measuring the World’ by Daniel Kehlmann. This is actually a novel, a sometimes irreverent look at two of the great scientists of the past. After those, I think I’m going to move onto Buzz Aldrin’s ‘No Dream is too high’.
Maybe after that, a story about a blind astronomer might be appropriate. But definitely some light relief will be needed.

Ohh, that sounds indeed as if The Blind Astronomer’s Daughter might be a fitting choice after those! 😀 I have Carlo Rovelli’s 7 Brief Lessons in Physics on my TBR!
