7 Facts About Me
1. I’ve lived in Italy for about a year. I spent ~11 months there before going to university and it was an amazing experience. I also returned to Italy for another 6 months for a semester abroad, so that was great as well!
2. I’m still in university and next semester I will be the official university-employed tutor for Introduction to Literary Studies. I originally didn’t even want to do this, I saw the job ad & dismissed it immediately. But then my literature professor (who’s responsible for the lecture) kind of forced me into it 😀 Now I think it’s actually pretty cool. And it also makes me nervous. What if I suck as a tutor? :O
3. I quit smoking earlier this year. I was a smoker for a very long time and it’s been roughly 4 months now since I quit – sometimes I still miss it even now, but I know I don’t want to start again. So I keep trying my best.
4. I have a bit of an obsession with dresses. Maybe that’s what happens when you were obsessed with Barbies as a child. Nevertheless, if you encounter me in daily life, I will be wearing jeans & sneakers most of the time.
5. Only one person of my real life knows about this blog so far. And about my bookstagram. I’ve only told my boyfriend so far – and he hasn’t even seen this. But he patiently listens to all of my ramblings concerning blog things and celebrates all the little accomplishments with me. ❤
6. I love coffee. And I drink a lot of it. I hardly ever drink tea – only when I’m sick.
7. I am not a morning person. Seriously. Don’t talk to me before I have been awake for at least half an hour and have finished my first coffee or my day will be ruined and I will be mad at you 😀
And the award goes to…
Great post.
Congrats on quitting smoking 😊😊

Thanks For the award!!
I’m the same with dresses and being in daily life in jeans (or sweats) and sneaker. Not used to wearing my heels now, got some killer heels though hahaha.
Congrats on quitting smoking. Quit April last year, but in hectic periods it’s really tough though =[
I love Italy too btw❤️🇮🇹
And I’d love to study Literary Studies. Sounds amazing, so does the job😉

Thank you! Haha, I’m the same about heels 😀 😀 And congrats to you, too! My moments in which I find it tough are thankfully decreasing – even though the stress isn’t, so that’s great. The only dangerous moments for me by now involve alcohol 😛 Although I even get much better at that I think. I hope it’ll get easier for you with time as well 🙂

I feel you, only a few of my friends know about my blog. I don’t know what it is, but I feel nervous about people I know reading about what I think, but a stranger I have no problem with- how strange. That’s also really cool that you’ve lived in Italy! I wish I could say I’ve lived somewhere else, but sadly I haven’t.

Well.. you know what they say – and by ‘they’ I mean Oscar Wilde: “Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask and he will tell you the truth.”
And maybe you will live somewhere else one day! 🙂

Oscar Wilde has some of the best quotes. My personal favorite: Work is the curse of the drinking classes.

That must’ve been so awesome to live in Italy. I’ve always wanted to go there for vacation. It looks amazing in pics. Congrats on quitting smoking. I’m also a massive coffee addict. I love all caffeine, but coffee is the one thing I drink all day and part of the night.

The good news is Italy looks just as great in real life 😉 Thank you 🙂 And coffee + Italy = paradise, so GO 😀

I’ve always wanted to visit Italy! Maybe someday!
I was nervous about telling people in real life about my blog for the longest time. I then realized that, of the multiple people who now know about it, NONE of them read it. So I guess I was worried about nothing. :p

I hope you get to visit 🙂 It’s rather sad that none of the people you told read your blog though 😦 Maybe they just aren’t interested in books anyways? 😦

Oh wow, it would be awesome to live in Italy :O When I think of Italy, I think of the Renaissance, and all things classy – so I would love to live there for a while 😀
And quitting smoking? That’s so amazing – congrats! Keep it up! ^_^

YES I mostly wear jeans and a tshirt but every now and then I like to dress up ahah. That’s amazing that you’ve lived abroad, it’s a dream for me one day but I have a lot of fear of it lol! Congrats on quitting smoking though M!

As a foil to yourself, M, I can’t even imagine wearing jeans. I haven’t found a comfortable pair of jeans that fit me well *ever*. I just wear dresses 99% of the time. I own only one pair of jeans, and it only comes out when I will be at a campfire.

I wish I could say I owned only one dress 😀 Actually, that’s a lie. Of course I don’t… I LOVE MY DRESSES ❤ 😀

Congrats on the smoking cessation. I know for a fact that it’s truly hard. I still smoke, but I hope you keep up the hard work!!

I hope so too. Sometimes it’s still weird to think of myself as a nonsmoker. Just last night I dreamed I had a packet of cigarettes with me at a party and went outside with friends to smoke as if it was the most natural thing in the world. But then I remembered I don’t smoke anymore. I had just forgotten that fact in my dream and then I had no idea where the cigarettes in my dream even came from. 😀
