WWW Wednesday is a meme currently hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words and is basically an update on what you’re reading. Anyone can join in – all you have to do is answer the Three Ws:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Don’t forget to leave a link to your own post in the comments and take some time to check out other people’s posts! 🙂
Currently reading
We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
By ‘currently reading’ I mean: I will read this after posting this. It’s really short, therefore I will finish it in no time at all. That doesn’t make it any less important though.
Recently finished
Faithful by Alice Hoffman
I received this as an eARC via Netgalleyn (publication date: Nov 1st 2016). I have no shame admitting that the beautiful cover was what attracted me to it in the first place. Review will follow soon.
Reading next
The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
I know, I know. I said I would read this next the last time. But then other things got in the way and now I still haven’t started it. I have read 3 other books (albeit short ones) in the meantime though!
What’s on your TBR for September? Have you already read any of the books mentioned above? What did you think of them? Tell me in the comments! 🙂
Faithful was a cover request for me too 🙂 I will be reading it in October. Your pictures are really nice! Happy reading!

I wish I could answer that in the positive, but I actually didn’t enjoy it very much 😦 But the reviews on goodreads are mostly very positive, so I seem to be an exception 😀

Aww thank you so much ❤ I also already finished We Should All Be Feminists now – it might have originally been a speech, but it works perfectly fine as a read, too 🙂 It's a smooth, really quick read, so you have nothing to worry about 🙂

The cover of Faithful is just lovely! Did you enjoy it?
LikeLiked by 1 person
I really don’t like this question 😀 Because I don’t like having to say that I didn’t enjoy a book 😦 BUT judging from the mostly very positive reviews on gr, I seem to be the only one who felt that way – so give it a try! 😀

Love We Should All be Feminists, let me know what you think of it, it’s just such a great book/speech which I think is really powerful. Did you know in, I think it’s Switzerland, they give every student a copy of the book, they think it’s that important! 🙂

Really? Do you have any source for that?
And I finished it and I think it’s a great essay / speech.

Sorry, it’s Sweden! 🙂 No, sorry, one of my teachers at school told me about it, thought it was such an amazing idea and really shows how the world is becoming more aware of feminism! Glad you liked it, so inspirational.

Can’t wait for your review of Faithful. Being a fan of the color blue its going to be hard not to buy!
I just finished Saga Vol 3&4 (review out tomorrow) and currently reading North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. I’ve been wanting to re-read N&S for awhile and glad I’m finally gotten to it.

Well… I think I might be with you there. At least I unfortunately didn’t enjoy Faithful. I think I will give Alice Hoffman another try though. I was actually intrigued by one of her books in a bookstore once. I didn’t pick it up in the end, but after reading Faithful and looking at the list of her other works I noticed it was her book I stared at back then 😀

Great list. I love fantasy and sci fi too. You can check out some of my favourites at https://reviewsviewsinterviews.wordpress.com/lists/favourite-fantasy-sci-fi/
I’ve just done a re-read of Fire and Hemlock by Diana Wynne Jones and have just started A Few Green Leaves by Barbara Pym (not fantasy).
No immediate plans for the rest of Sept. I’ll see where my mood takes me 🙂
