WWW Wednesday: What are you currently reading?

WWW Wednesday is a meme currently hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words and is basically an update on what you’re reading. Anyone can join in – all you have to do is answer the Three Ws:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Don’t forget to leave a link to your own post in the comments and take some time to check out other people’s posts! 🙂

Currently reading

We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie   goodreads-badge-add-plus_zpsc94610e9

By ‘currently reading’ I mean: I will read this after posting this. It’s really short, therefore I will finish it in no time at all. That doesn’t make it any less important though.

Recently finished

Faithful by Alice Hoffman  goodreads-badge-add-plus_zpsc94610e9

I received this as an eARC via Netgalleyn (publication date: Nov 1st 2016). I have no shame admitting that the beautiful cover was what attracted me to it in the first place. Review will follow soon.

Reading next

The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah goodreads-badge-add-plus_zpsc94610e9

I know, I know. I said I would read this next the last time. But then other things got in the way and now I still haven’t started it. I have read 3 other books (albeit short ones) in the meantime though!

rating-1 What’s on your TBR for September? Have you already read any of the books mentioned above? What did you think of them? Tell me in the comments! 🙂

    • I really don’t like this question 😀 Because I don’t like having to say that I didn’t enjoy a book 😦 BUT judging from the mostly very positive reviews on gr, I seem to be the only one who felt that way – so give it a try! 😀

  2. Love We Should All be Feminists, let me know what you think of it, it’s just such a great book/speech which I think is really powerful. Did you know in, I think it’s Switzerland, they give every student a copy of the book, they think it’s that important! 🙂

  3. Can’t wait for your review of Faithful. Being a fan of the color blue its going to be hard not to buy!

I just finished Saga Vol 3&4 (review out tomorrow) and currently reading North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. I’ve been wanting to re-read N&S for awhile and glad I’m finally gotten to it.

  4. I’ve heard a lot of good things about We Should All Be Feminists! I think I said this last week, but I’m looking forward to seeing what you think of The Nightingale. I’ve been recommended it a few times now since I’m a huge fan of historical fiction. Hope you enjoy 🙂

    • Well… I think I might be with you there. At least I unfortunately didn’t enjoy Faithful. I think I will give Alice Hoffman another try though. I was actually intrigued by one of her books in a bookstore once. I didn’t pick it up in the end, but after reading Faithful and looking at the list of her other works I noticed it was her book I stared at back then 😀
